Gauge to Nose
2 ways to determine the size of bit thirds you need.
1. Know the size of the tri-cone bit that it came from.
2. Measure the distance from gauge to nose. (see below)

you need help determining what size thirds / sections you need, you can
measure the gauge to nose distance of your existing cutters and call
for assistance. Measuring the gauge to nose will allow us to accurately
determine what size tri-cone bit your thirds came from. (see below)
